A Colouring Book of Stories and Connections…

This week, we brought our printed colouring books to the nursing homes.

Each page in the book was inspired by the real stories we’ve heard from them over the past year — memories of holidays, friendships, and favourite hobbies. It was as if we saw these memories flash in front of their eyes as the residents flipped through each page, their faces lighting up, some gasping and pointing when they recognise their illustrated stories. It was heartwarming to see the residents carefully choose a crayon to repaint their picture, bringing their rusty memories to life.

This event was truely rewarding as we were able to see how our creativity can bring joy, comfort and make deeper connections.
